Welch Ave. Station is located at 207 Welch Ave., Ames, IA -- in the heart of Campustown.
Serving the people of Ames and Iowa State University for over
23 years (owned longer than any other bar
in Campustown)
we provide an excellent atmosphere for enjoying the nightlife of Campustown. Our bar can hold nearly 200 people,
and that's all we allow, for your safety and comfort. The big screen TV's give everyone in the bar a great view
of a variety of sporting events. We check ID's thouroughly to help insure there will be no
underage drinkers
to bother our guests. Our bar has proven that a campustown bar can operate
without underage patrons, alcohol violations, capacity violations and the
like, yet
promote safety and responsibility, and still be a place to have fun and cut loose.
